Hi there, I’m Toby, a photographer from St Albans, and Managing Director of Shepheard Photography Limited.

 Welcome to my website! 

My passion for photography began at the start of Lockdown 2020 when I organised a neighbourhood fundraiser for CICRA (Crohn's in Childhood Research Association). I took many doorstep portraits of families in and around St Albans capturing all of their pandemic memories; from children and pets to wild haircuts! During my daily walks, I explored different techniques, capturing landscapes, sunrises, the night sky and street scenes.

When lockdown ended I broadened the scope of my work, to begin capturing local news and events; I’ve since seen much of my work published in newspapers, leaflets, and across social media.

In September 2023, aged 18, I launched my business, Shepheard Photography Limited, specialising in Events, News, PR, and Sports photography across the nation. I am also a regular contributor with Story Picture Agency.

My biggest achievement to date has been securing front page of The Times on Budget Day 2024.

I have also enjoyed many exciting commissions for clients including: St Albans Cathedral, The Times, Daily Mail, BMW, Scene & Heard and Hendricks Gin. 

Additionally, I’ve had work published in The Telegraph, The Sun, Daily Mirror, The Star, The Express, The Guardian, BBC News, Sky News, Metro, Herts Advertiser and St Albans Times.
